I'm always on the hunt for the next best skincare products. When I was at Ulta the other day to pick up a few goodies in their 21 Days of Beauty Sale, I stumbled across these in one of the skincare aisles. Masks are super fun and thereapeutic—I like to do them when I'm spending an evening reading or binge-watching Netflix. "Spa" nights are my favorite nights, so stocking up on lots of mask varieties is definitely a plus.
To start my nighttime skincare ritual, I take off my makeup with these clarifying facial wipes. Cleansing is much more effective when there isn't a bunch of makeup in the way. After using the wipes, I use my Philosophy Purity All-in-One Cleanser with my Clarisonic. Then, it's mask time.
Formula 10.0.6 is a great budget-friendly brand and is available at Ulta.
I started with the Deep Down Detox Ultra-Cleansing Mud Mask. It's a hardcore pore-cleaner and has an invigorating orange bergamot scent. Orange isn't just incredible for your body—hello, Vitamin C!—it's amazing for your skin, as well. The fruit is a superior skin hydrator and brightener. It tingles a LOT when you first put the mask on (apply to clean, dry skin), but that goes away and the end result is worth it. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and try to resist picking it off once it dries.
If you're really feeling a mask night, try doing two consecutively. If not, spread them out a little. The Pores Be Pure Skin-Clarifying Mud Mask is a delicious-smelling (strawberry and yarrow) treat for your face. This one tingles a bit as well, but that feeling goes away faster than with the orange mask. The strawberry packs in antioxidants and is great for your memory (and pores!). Just like the other mask, leave on for 15-20 minutes and don't mess with it once it dries!
I definitely recommend trying out Formula 10.0.6—each mask is only $5.99. And they have a lot of other more specific treatments, too—from blackhead treatments to pore strips.
